3 1/2 weeks

6am came early this morning...way early. After our nice 8 night/7 day swine flu vacation it was up and at 'em early this morning to catch our 6:46am bus for school. The kids were slow and grumpy. I was slow and cheerfull, trying to offset the grumpiness. The kids ate in silence. I made cookies. Cookies to take to Evan's class because we missed taking cookies on his birthday. It's strange to bake cookies at 6:30am. Not as tempting. Maybe I should always bake cookies this early.

So 3 1/2 weeks left until school is officially out and we can all go back to sleeping at 6:00am. Afterall, that's what should be going on at 6:00am.
