McKinley's shopping birthday!

McKinley turned 14 on a Sunday  (June 10th) , so we spent the Saturday before shopping and going out to lunch and just hanging out together.  It was really fun to be able to go shopping and have her pick out all her birthday clothes!  We had a great time.  Then she wanted a big burger and she got one that's for sure.

McKinley is a quiet and thoughtful and reflective young woman.  She is a loyal friend to many and includes all types of people in her friend group.  She looks out for the underdog and is kind to everyone.  She is tender hearted and loves to do the right thing.  She hates hugs and loves tumbling, twisting, trampolining, and anything she can put her mind to to conquer.  Her cousins are her best friends and she is almost always happy and helpful.  My daughter is everything I could ever want....Happy birthday McKinley!

Utah All State Boys Soccer Selection!

After an amazing season we weren't surprised that Evan was selected for the 3a First Team for State!  He had an amazing season with his team and it was fun to see lots of his friends and teammate Nathan Davenport also selected this year!  What an honor!

McKinley makes Alta High School cheer!

After a brutal week of 12 hours of tryouts, McKinley was able to make the JV team at her school for her sophomore year!  She was so nervous coming from a gymnastic's background and not having done any stunting EVER....  But she's a quick learner, her tumbling is fantastic and she was offered a spot!  We're excited for this next adventure into a whole new world!

to me
Evan,

We have had a massive number of potential players come our way this year. A lot of talent. We have committed a few for this coming fall and we would like to offer you a spot upon returning from your mission. We look at you as an offensive threat that can play either a wing position or as a forward.

We hope that this makes sense for you and a long future with BYU. Let me know and I look forward to speaking more soon.
