David's birthday

Yesterday was David (and his brother Mark's) birthday and we celebrated with TONS of family. We invited both sides of our family over to have some cake and ice cream. David's choice of cake: carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Yum!

We had a great time visiting with everyone and the cousins made the biggest fort I have ever seen. The entire basement was covered in blankets and there were "rooms" for everyone. I should have taken a picture of it, but we were busy cleaning it up before bedtime.

It was a perfect family party and we're still so glad we are here around so much family. Happy Birthday David (and Mark too!)
