Mountain Man
Today at Evan's school they had a mountain man come and talk to the kids about living in the wild and the history of famous mountain men. It was a great assembly and the man, Scott Sorensen, was a great storyteller and speaker. The kids learned about trapping and tall tales. They were able to see skins of wild animals and hear about fishing and kayaking in the mountains. At the end of the assembly I was able to take a picture of Evan with the mountain man Scott! It was a fun time!

My father in law was a mountain man. His moniker was Willie Whiskers. We have a pen drawn portrait of him over our fireplace in his buckskins. What a fun experience.
I can totally see it.... Evan the mountain man!
PS. If I hear "I miss Evan even one more time this school break I'm just gonna break out in tears and cry too!
