We followed our annual tradition of attending our local Fourth of July parade. This year it was Sattler, Texas. It was a very small town type parade, but you still get that great feeling of celebrating the freedoms of this great country. We missed our Washington DC downtown parade, but this one was certainly easier to attend. We even brought Jagg, who was a trooper in the 90 degree heat!

Austin was thrilled to be at the parade with his wonderful family...isn't it great to be 12!!
And on float #26 our dear friend, Brother Snyder, who was part of the Celebrate Recovery float! We're so proud of him and his battle to overcome drug addiction! Go Chris!!We are wiped out from the hour in the heat, but we're resting up for an evening BBQ and possible a fireworks show if we have the energy!! Happy Fourth to everyone.

Happy 4th! We went to the 4th of July parade in the tiny town of Johnson, just outside Pullman. It was great fun. We didn't have as much heat (only in the 80's) but everyone at the parade, both on and off the floats, were armed with water guns, so everyone got wet and really enjoyed the festivities!
Aren't small town parades the best? We went to the 4th of July parade in Blanding, Utah. Lots of candy, water and fire trucks. Fun!

I can FEEL the Texas heat! And, remember the fun of a small town 4th of July parade (having been in the marching band!) and attending the county rodeo which was always held around the same time! Hugs and kisses to all!!! xoxoxoxoxoxo
The temperate was more like 100 degrees, mom! also, the fireworks were a no-go.. we were too tired, i wish we could set of our own but that stupid burn ban stopped that fun. Texas Firworks are the best.. you can actual shoot them in the air unlike D.C. Anyway, lots of fun at that BQ/swim party with the drapers
