Ok, so I've had a Facebook account for years. Apparently someone "found" me and I had to sign up to see who it was and so I used an email account that we use for junk mail and signed up. That was that...end of story. Until Monday...
On Monday I went to said Facebook page and realized there's been a lot of things going on in that cyberworld without me. My wall was written upon, I'd been tagged, and a lot of people wanted to be my friend. Nice warm fuzzys.
Then the addiction began. Anyone who knows me knows that I pride myself in keeping in touch with people. I like to stay in touch and know what's going on in other people's lives. Nosey? Thoughtful? I don't know. So there's a whole page on this Facebook that helps you find anyone you've ever known. So I began typing in names and faces pop up. Some are instantly recognizable and I know I've found an old fried. But there are others that use funny pictures or pictures so small you are stuck wondering if this is the Sue Jones that you knew in highschool or one of the other 100 from your home town... So what do you do? Do you send an invitation to Sue Jones and hope it's her? Sure....what can it hurt? And maybe you'll make a new friend. And then you'll know two Sue Jone's from your home town. Wow...amazing.
So I hope to see you on Facebook. I'm trying to get my Facebook friends to come to the blog. Then we can all be one well rounded happy family!
