For BethAnn's 80th birthday the family organized an open house and invited everyone we could think of. There were still some concerns about large groups and COVID so we decided to hold the event outside in the yard and have asm much fresh air as possible. We were so excited that so many people came to show their love and appreciation for BethAnn. She had cousins and family from near and far come by, along with college roomates, and longtime friends and lot of neighbors as well. She was truly spoiled by everyone's attendance and was touched to be celebrated by so many. She has touched many people's lives over the years and is always a joy and sunshine to everyone, so it was great to have a chance to brighten her day and celebrate her. Happy 80th birthday Nana!

Madison turns 23!
After and really rough time of being really sick and in the hospital we were so excited to be able to celebrate Madison's 23rd birthday with her. It was a super hard summer for her due to being sick and trying to figure out what was wrong and her being in and out of the hosptial so much, but she was able to be released and was doing well so we had a quiet party at her parent's home to celebrate her birthday! It was a fun afternoon and we're grateful to have her as part of our family.

Maroon 5 concert at USANA
After a COVID cancellatio and rescheduling we finally were able to use our tickets to see Maroon 5 in concert. It was at the USANA ampitheater and McKinley and I were able to go with her cousins Emma and Melissa. We had a great girls night and it was a great concert.
A perfect summer evening with a couple thousand of our closest friends!

Bear Lake 2021
The absolute highlight of every summer for the Smith side of the family is always Bear Lake!! And this year seemed especially grand because of the COVID pandemic that had kept us apart and seperated for so much of the spring and summer. It was so great to be able to gather all together outside at our favorite Bear Lake campsite and reconnect. The best way to explain Bear Lake is always with the photos, but this year we did have some memorable moments, such as a giant wind storm that blew through camp for a few hours, great canvas shades put up by David and a surprise visit from Zach and Veronica from Arkansas being a few. Those events along with the every day time together was great as always!
