Some games you'll remember for a long time....Judge vs. Summit 3-4

This game will be one that we all remember for a very long time.  We knew that Judge was going to be a tough game for us and we were pumped and ready for it.  Unfortunately, we didn't come out with our A game and quickly found ourselves down 0-2 within minutes.  But, the boys settled in and played their game and were able to dominate the play for long stretches of time.  Evan scored and brought the fire back into the team and they rallied all the way to 3-3 to force the game to overtime.  It was so awesome.  And it got better.  A few minutes into the overtime period Evan scored the winning golden goal and we won!!  It was such a great game to watch and a wonderful winning moment for the whole team, and especially for Evan!  Wow!  It was a game that we will not forget for some time.  Way to go Bears!

Lamb of God performace by Draper philharmonic orcestra and choir

We went up to Abravanel hall one Sunday evening to see some of our neighbors and friends who were part of this production.  It was amazing!  They did such a great job and put on 3 concerts for the community free of charge.  It was such a professional job and I'm so glad that we made the effort to go and support them.  It was an amazing, thought-provoking, spiritual evening for our family!

Fit Body Boot Camp 2.0 make-over!

We were so lucky to have help from the kids in preparing and painting the Riverton FBBC to the new 2.0 color of steele gray!  It was all hands on deck with different taping and painting jobs and together we knocked it out in just over 5 hours!  It was quite a transformation and we think it's going to get even better with the new flooring that is on the way and the wood accent reception area planned.  It's so fun to see things come together and we are having a blast with all the hard work.  We know it will all pay off!  Our new adventure is going full force!

SAHS boys soccer St George pre-season tournament!

Another amazing mini vacation due to soccer!  Soccer has always made us get out of town and explore...this time we did our final St George pre-season high school soccer tournament.  This is one of the favorites for all the boys because it's an overnighter with all your high school teammates and friends.  We go along to support them at the games and go explore the beautiful area around St George when Spring is still a few weeks away at home.  We were able to go on some beautiful, quick hikes, and watch SAHS go undefeated in 3 games down there!  We even got to play a game again Jett, our far away cousin from Union High School is Roosevelt!  That was a big treat for sure!

Mother/Daughter date!

I surprised McKinley with a mommy-daughter date to Salt Lake for lunch and Wicked!  It was such a fun time riding the Trax up there, giggling, taking illegal photos in the theater, and getting yummy cheesecake after.  We really enjoyed the show and loved creating this memory together!  Love my girl!

(We didn't know we couldn't take pictures inside and were snapping away when the hostess came and told us we couldn't take pictures...so these are illegal photos now!)

FInal club tournament - Las Vegas with Apex!

We traveled to Las Vegas for the boys to participate in their final club soccer tournament.  It was super cold (snow in Vegas), and the boys did really well!  It was fun, as always, to get away, and to have days filled with soccer and exploring.  It was even more exciting when Evan got word that he was accepted into BYU!!!  He has worked so hard in both soccer and school to get to this point and it was a great culmination of all that!  We couldn't be prouder!!

Ethan turns 21!!

After spending the past 2 birthdays away from us in Brazil, we were excited to celebrate with Ethan and his favorite dessert of cheesecake!  We were able to go shopping all day and get him a bunch of new clothes to welcome him back to normal college kid times.  It was really fun just to spend time together, spoil him a little, and enjoy his fabulous sense of humor and smile.  Happy, happy birthday Ethan!
